2025 at GRAUMANN

 

For more than 20 years, GRAUMANN has been an independent, family-founded and led brand out of Copenhagen devoted to creating a timeless wardrobe for the contemporary woman. We've always aimed to source the highest quality materials and our collections are primarily produced by seamstresses in the EU. 

 

From the outset of 2025, after sincere reflection, Hanne decided to step away from the traditional cycle of retail and going forward to make GRAUMANN available exclusively online. It was not a decision made lightly. It came from a desire to slow certain processes, to sharpen our focus on tailoring and sourcing materials, and to stay true to the values that have guided us from the beginning.  

 

2025 has indeed been a year of learning. Some things happen behind the scenes; for example, we learned, that while we wished to produce less clothes, it costs more to produce less. Another valuable lesson for us was how important it is to meet you, our loyal customers, in person. Getting dressed is a physical and personal matter, first and foremost. To this end we opened our first ever pop-up shop on Frederiksberg in September, and then we opened the doors to the GRAUMANN studio in November and December. We have been completely blown away by your support for these initiatives, and you will definitely see ‘Open Studio’ again in 2026.  

 

We are deeply thankful for your support through the years, and especially during this period of change. It fills us with quiet optimism that so many prioritise a timeless wardrobe of quality produced in the EU, and we look forward to what comes next.
